Lilit Movsisyan has graduated from the Feature Film Directing Department of the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema. In 2011, she premiered her first feature full-length film Ashtray. In 2010, Lilit won the Best Screenwriter Prize at Moscow's 3-rd Annual International Film School. Also in 2011, her short film was the opening sequence in documentary film Life in a Day produced by Scott Free Productions. In 2012, Lilit's short film Me Too won 3 prizes at Syracuse IFF. In 2013, Lilit Movsisyan's second feature full-length film Caucho won Best Actress Prize at Hayak National Cinema Awards.
