Rayanna Dibs is a British/Lebanese actress from Wiltshire, England, now based in London. She is known for her screen work in various British independent films such as 'Alone' in which she received a Best Supporting Actress nomination, 'The Days Inbetween', and the award winning short-films 'Orchid' and 'Father'. Rayanna's fuel for acting came from a healthy obsession with '80s&'90s action movies, spending her youth watching the likes of Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson and Arnie save the day! It was then she was introduced to the legendary 'Sarah Connor' in T2, and that was the turning point that encouraged Rayanna to step out of the living room, and put her curiosity for acting into action! Having attended stage school as a child, she soon found a love for the theatre and won her first lead stage role in Willy Russell's hit musical 'Blood Brothers' at 17, which she performed on tour in the U.S. Rayanna later went on to study acting and modern drama in London, training with various teachers over the years both in London and the U.S. She has worked on numerous film projects, theatre productions and has begun branching out into television. Recent film credits include SOLDIER WITH NO NAME (now selected for Monaco International Film festival Dec 2018), REPUBLIC OF FOOD directed by Kelvin Tong, released across Singapore Cinemas summer 2018, award winning short films ORCHID, BETWEEN THE DIVIDE and FATHER, and British independent Feature Films ALONE (Best Supporting Actress Nom), and OUR LITTLE HAVEN, winner London Film Awards 2017. In television, her last guest-star role was on UKTV's FORBIDDEN HISTORY playing the iconic MARY MAGDALENE. Rayanna regularly gets cast as American and has also appeared in U.S hit TV series 50 WAYS TO KILL YOUR LOVER on the Discovery Channel, and U.S TV movie drama MIRACLE LANDING ON THE HUDSON directed by Emmy award winner Simon George. Rayanna is motivated by relationships, collaboration and story-telling that explores rich daring characters. Beyond her fascination for film-making and performance, her interests include live music & festivals. She also likes to cook with a particular interest in Middle Eastern and Lebanese food, but should probably stick to acting if her attempts to play chef are anything to go by!
