Willy Lukwago

Willy Lukwago is a Ugandan film-maker living in Sweden. Lukwago was born in Kampala Uganda, but later moved to Sweden inn late 90s where he discovered film- making after seeing a Swedish comedy TV-serie hit called "Det nya landet" (The new country) which aired early in 2000. After that, he decided to start making his own films as a hobby. A hobby which have resulted in over 10 short films and one feature film" Innocent Mara" which will be released in 2018. Up to now Lukwago have worked on major film productions such as "Play", by Ruben Östlund. A Swedish TV-serie "Kniven i hjärtat" which is a follow-up to "Det nya landet" and a lot more.
