Ranja Kamal

Ranja Kamal was born in Zurich, Switzerland. She began acting at the age of five after appearing in several opera productions such as Luisa Miller, Hänsel & Gretel, Magic Flut or Othello. Her first acting job in a movie was in 2003, when she portrayed Hermine in a short film called "Magic Teachers". In the following years, she appeared in some commercial and in 2009 she had a guest role on an established television series in Switzerland, called "Edelmais & Co". Her first big acting job in a movie was in 2011, where she played Jennifer in "Mary & Johnny" opposite Nadine Vinzens, Nils Althaus and Andrea Zogg. Furthermore Ranja is in "Life in a Day", the YouTube movie, directed by Kevin Macdonald.
