Giorgio Panetta grew up in New Jersey skateboarding, playing sports & fishing. It wasn't until he was in college pursuing a degree in science (meteorology) that he took his 1st acting class to fulfill an arts requirement...and that was that. He loved it. He consumed all things acting, eventually moving to NYC on the advice from his teachers and eventually, was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Art on a scholarship. He flourished, booking a few episodes of All my Children and started working in off and off-off Broadway plays, and making his rounds. He has worked with playwrights John Cariani, Derek Ahonen, and workshopped a class with Adam Rapp. He was cast in the NY premiere stage reading of Meet Me At The Oak playing Frank Boudoin, written by Layon Grey. He booked his first network TV role on The Blacklist opposite Tony Shaloub, Vince Curatola and James Spader. Always fighting against type, the typical "Italian male" Giorgio has shown range, next booking the flamboyant hairdresser/drug dealer in a scene stealer on FX's POSE. A total turnaround from the tough gangster Vince on CBS's The Equalizer. (Feb 2022). He is a founding member and Vice President of Tookany Creek Films along with Sam Centrella & Reuben Barsky. Their first feature film The Life Of Peter Gottlieb is set for release (summer 2022) and they already have a follow up script. They continue to create and write daily, building their artistic network.
