Peter Carreg of Anglo Welsh descent, worked extensively in theatre and film with a few rare roles on television. His career began in the 1950s as a child actor in London, appearing in a number of post war B films. Although he preferred drama, he was often to be found on stage in musical theatre which revealed a fine singing voice. He didn't solely work as an actor as there were periods of complete contrast e.g. beginning training for the priesthood and a spell in the army medical corps. All good experience for later roles as he saw it. Diagnosis of a crippling illness in 2007 reduced his ability to perform or even travel and so he reluctantly retired to spend his remaining time as an artist and writer.
