Philip Karch

Philip J. (P.J.) Karch is the 2nd of four sons of John Philip and Sharla Karch. His identical twin brother is Jackie Karch. He was raised in Chico, Texas where he caught the filmmaking bug when he, along with Jackie, was in junior high school. P.J. was the writer/director of all the Karch Brother's (then known as "Slasher Pictures") early projects, such as; Riley's Sorrow, Riley's Sorrow II: Riley's Revenge, Riley's Sorrow 3, To Hell, and The Texas Butter Knife Massacre. Here he also honed his keen Dinero-esque (probably more like Nick Cage or perhaps Steven Segall, to be perfectly honest) acting abilities. He and Jackie both attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas after graduating from high school in the top five of their class. While at college, P.J. studied journalism and mass media and would eventually get hired as a news photographer for a local television station, where he learned the finer art of running a camera. After completing college, P.J. joined the Navy and served faithfully aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise for five years. As of 2014, he resides in Haslet, Texas with his lovely wife Nikki and young daughter, Glady. He, along with Jackie, now own and operate the Fort Worth based independent Christian film production company, Karch Brothers Entertainment.
