Marius Calugarita

A 2000 graduate of drama studies at University, in the class mentored by actors Constantin Codrescu, Doru Ana and Vlad Radescu, Marius joined in 2002 the State Jewish Theater of Bucharest, TES, to take on roles in plays written by Kenneth Lonergan, Donald Margulies, Bashevis Singer, Milton Frederick Marcus, Gilles Segal, Jacob Gordin, Salom Alehem , Frederich Durrenmatt,etc... and be directed by Catalina Buzoianu, Cristi Juncu, Radu Iacoban, Erwin Simsensohn , Kinkses Elèmer, Alexander Hausvater, Dominic Dembinski, etc.. At TES he performs both in Romanian and Yiddish.
