Angelica Laurin

Angelica Laurin is a Canadian Metis. She is a member of Actra and has just acted in Cubicle Warriors(2013), and a short film Morning Zombies(which won best Short at the Huntsville International Film Festival 2012. In 2011 she was crowned First Lady in Waiting, Best Talent, and Most Photogenic at The Miss Teen Ontario North Canada Pageant. She is also a singer and has been taking vocal lessons for the past 6 years. She has many other talents including, figure skating, swimming, hunting and fishing. Last year she obtained her hunting license and gun safety course. In 2010 she won the National Aboriginal Role Model Award. This award has enabled her to travel and speak with youth and encourage them to obtain their goals. This is something she is very proud of.
