J.T. McRoberts was raised by a single mother in the Deep South of Mississippi. He graduated from the Visual Arts program at the North Carolina School of the Arts in 1992 and went on to attempt to create multiple comic studios without success. Comics created but never published include Avatar, Hero of Heroes and Tymelines (with co-writer Kirk D.Jones). In 2003, McRoberts started his first film production company Mutantville Productions with good friends Geo Blalock and S.Brent Bowers. The company spent the years 2004 to 2006 shooting their first full length feature C for Chaos which is a supernatural slasher film about a comic book artist who is plunged into a world of horror. McRoberts is currently finishing the DVD/blu ray authoring for Tales From Mutantville and G.H.O.S.T. while working on his latest scripts which include The Metatron Files, The Mothman Murders and his superhero script - The Diamond Age.
