Federico Conforti is an award-winning picture editor based in Los Angeles. He is a member of the European Film Academy and Motion Picture Editors Guild (Local 700). He was co-editor of the acclaimed Italian film They Call Me Jeeg, which won seven "David di Donatello" awards (Italian Academy Awards) in 2016, including Best Editing. He also won the 2020 People's Voice - Best Editing Webby Award for his work on "That's My Jazz". Other notable editing work includes Blood Rider, a short documentary premiering at the "We Are One" film festival in 2020; Defying Gravity, a docuseries about women's artistic gymnastics produced by Google/All3Media; Almost Famous, a docuseries for NY Times Op-Docs; The War in Between, a documentary directed by Riccardo Ferraris; Calico Skies, a feature directed by Valerio Esposito; Dimension 404, a new sci-fi series for Hulu; season two of Ultimate Beastmaster for Netflix; and The Oath, a drama series for Sony Crackle. The Disunited States of America, a documentary he edited for director Luis Prieto, won "Best Social Issue Documentary" at Atlanta Docufest in 2017. Music videos he edited for director Marco Missano went on to win "Best Music Video" at the Italian Independent Music Video Awards three years in a row, from 2009-2011.
