Kila Packett

Kila holds an MFA from the graduate acting program at Columbia University's School of the Arts. He made his Off-Broadway debut in Sir Peter Hall's production of As You Like It at the Brooklyn Academy of Music starring Rebecca Hall and Dan Stevens. He was chosen by Liv Ullmann to understudy three roles in A Streetcar Named Desire starring Cate Blanchett and Joel Edgerton at BAM. Notable television credits include recurring roles on Hawaii Five-0 (2010) opposite Scott Caan and Daniel Dae Kim; and Grey's Anatomy (2005) directed by Debbie Allen. Kila worked opposite Ryan Phillippe in season 3 of Shooter (2016) directed by Jessica Lowrey. He also credits working with director Alik Sakharov on the Sci-Fi series Counterpart (2017) starring J.K. Simmons for the STARZ network, director Milan Cheylov on the CBS series Wisdom of the Crowd (2017), and director Ben Hernandez Bray on the CBS series S.W.A.T. (2017). He portrayed the role of, Boomer, a Vietnam War veteran on NBC's critically acclaimed series, This Is Us (2016), directed by Yasu Tanida. He guest starred as Marine Sargeant, Kaleo Whitman, in Season One of NCIS: Hawai'i (2021) directed by Larry Teng. Most recently, Kila worked opposite Angela Bassett in Season Six of 9-1-1 (2018) directed by Marita Grabiak. Upcoming projects include the short film The Triumphant Death of Frank Bean starring Academy Award winner, Louis Gossett Jr. directed by Satie Gossett
