Born in Reading, Pennslyvania, Tricia Matz trained in New York City at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Studies from Marymount Manhattan College where she additionally holds a B.A. in Communication Arts with a concentration in film, video, and television. She continued her education at the New School University achieving an M.A. in Media Studies. She has also has completed theatre studies and performing arts seminars in London, England. She is an alumni of Richmond, The American University in London. Tricia has studied dance at The University of the Arts, Peridance, The Ailey School, and numerous other dance studios. While living in New York City, she performed in numerous stage productions and has regional and off Broadway credits. Tricia was featured on Broadway, as a dancer in the TDF Astaire Awards. She performed numerous times off Broadway as part of the International Dance Festival and performed as a guest artist and company member in numerous New York City dance companies. She has also worked internationally, performing on 6 continents, in over 60 countries. Tricia has worked as a dancer for Norwegian Cruise Line, as an actor at Universal Studios Hollywood, and as an actor at Six Flags. Since moving to Hollywood, Tricia has built on her success as a stage actress and dancer. She is best known for her work in commercials, including Red Lobster's national commercials. She is also a voiceover artist in several national commercials. Tricia is additionally a principal actor in commercials for the Fox Network, Disneyland, and Sportsmaster. She additionally acted in the comedic short film "Christmas with Martini" (Honorable Mention in the Los Angeles Film and Script Festival and Denali Award Winner at the Alaska Film Festival). An accomplished dancer, Tricia has performed in numerous industrials and music videos. She is the owner and artistic director of True Path Productions, a not for profit dance and theatre company.
