Ronald Diltz II studied theatre at the University of Florida, where he appeared in several plays. While he had a passion for appearing on stage, he was drawn to writing and directing. He went on to produce three plays, The Girl Who Cried Out Father (2004), The Lost Boy (2005), and Rickeyah (2006) prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre in 2006. Seeking to immerse himself further in the entertainment industry, in 2007 he enrolled to study film production at Full Sail University. In 2009 he wrote, produced, and directed, his first independent short film, Samantha (2009). After graduating from Full Sail University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Film, Diltz went on to write and produce six additional independent short films: Suffering (2010), Corrupt (2011), Depravity (2012), and The Donor (2014), Fallen Fruit (2015), and Painted Black (2016). Diltz went on to receive a Master of Science Degree in Entertainment Business and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing. He currently serves as a Course Director in the Digital Cinematography Program at Full Sail University.
