Donna has been acting since the age of 7. She trained at London Studio Centre as a dancer in 1987, working on shows like Top of The Pops, KMKY with Alan Partridge and films Pride & Prejudice (BBC) Emma (Meridian) and Firelight (Carnival Films). Donna retrained as an actor at Drama Centre Central Saint Martins UAL 2009 graduating with an MA in Screen Acting. She has since appeared in Byzantium (as Sorse Ronan's school ma'am. Neil Jordan) and short films; Field Trip (Smashed Egg Prods) Kundalini and Lily The Clown. Her years of working on comedy shows for; Harry Enfield & Chums, Jim Davidson, Joe Pasquale, Bobby Davro and Bradley Walsh she learned her craft and skill for the 'one liner' and improvisation with an interactive live audience. In 2013 she wrote her own one woman show Pamela's Permanent Wave then she was commissioned by producers and funding from the Arts Council in 2017 to rewrite it as a three hand-er renamed Pamela's Palace (WWW.pamelaspalace.com). Donna and the Pam's have been touring worldwide performing at MICF, Adelaide Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe 2019 to 4 and 5 star reviews. The next step is a UK tour in 2020 and in talks to bring the show to the TV screen. Donna is author of 'High Kicks' (The essential guide to working as a dancer. A & C Black 1999) and she is in the process of writing her first sitcom. In between her writing and devising projects she can be seen featuring in commercials for Innovo (incontinence) and Dormeo (mattresses) and filming parody pop videos & promo trailers with The Pam's for YouTube @pamelaspalace.
