Zheng Jia

Zheng Jia is an award-winning sound editor, sound designer and re-recording mixer for films and television based in Los Angeles, California. She was born and raised in China. After graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science in 2010, Zheng went to USC School of Cinematic Arts and earned her MFA in Film & Television Production in 2013. Zheng is now the first Chinese female sound editor who has won an MPSE Golden Reel Award, after many nominations. Zheng is a member of Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (TV Academy), sound editor peer group. She is also a member of MPSE (Motion Picture Sound Editors) and MPEG (Motion Picture Editors Guild - Local 700).
