Kristian Michail

Born and raised in Australia, aligned with his ancestry of migrant grandparents originating from Italy and Greece in the 1960's, Kristian Michail's passion and love of the ancient structures of theater inspired him to write, produce and direct 'Closed' his first film project, produced during his final year (2010) at Melbourne Grammar School at age 17. Kristian's passion for film in conjunction with his committed fascination for music, formulated his inspiration for 'Closed', a story based on an everyday individual's life and the spiraling effects when events go terribly wrong. Largely inspired and mentored by his elder brother Jon-Paul the lead actor in the film the storyline exposes common issues prevalent in contemporary society. Kristian, is now studying first year Commerce/Law at Deakin University, Melbourne and exploring all avenues to further develop his artistic intelligence, with the enthusiastic all important zeal to 'take' on the world of cinema.
