Emilie Baltz is an artist, educator and personality best known for her delightful work at the intersection of food, technology and performance. She is the inventor of the Lickestra (the world's first likable ice cream orchestra), the Cotton Candy Theremin and the Dream Machine (a multisensory musical instrument where emotions are played via scent and sound). Her work celebrates the exceptional moments hidden in the everyday as she works fluidly across art, industry and performance: creating work for cities, brands, institutions and pure imagination. Her charisma and inspirational ideas make her a loved leader, guest expert and inspirational public speaker, with appearances at TEDx, DLD, PSFK Conference, Ignite Conference, Creative Mornings, TODAY Show, NBC, Wall Street Journal, D-CRIT and more. She holds a BA in Film Studies from Vassar College, an MID from Pratt Institute and trained extensively in Martha Graham and classical voice.
