Pauline Williams is a prolific writer, filmmaker and stand up comedian with a natural talent for exploring raw human emotion with a philosophical nature. Having grown up censored and restrained by the Fairhaven system, and spending time as a teacher in the People's Republic of China, Pauline developed a deep frustration with censorship and the effect it has on a people, and crafted her unique comedic voice as a direct opposition to that. An accomplished writer overflowing with stories for most of her life, Pauline added film to her repertoire as she discovered the profound change a visual aspect can have on a story. Her work as a documentary filmmaker has been focused on working with others to tell the stories that the world would otherwise not hear. For her work, Pauline has been celebrated with the Library of Poetry Editor's Choice award, as well as talking third place in the Library of Poetry Prize. A member of the Screen Actor's Guild, Pauline was a quarterfinalist in the Hollywood's Next Success Screenwriting Comedy contest, and in 1993 was an Eleanor Roosevelt Named Gift Honoree. She also works as an adviser for Talk to History, as well as the Fairhaven Survivor Alumni Community.
