Ademide was born in Westminster, England to lawyer/mediator Maureen Onyebuchi Akintilo and consultant/magazine publisher Franklin Adedeji Akintilo. Ademide grew up in Lagos, Nigeria as the youngest of six children (he himself being the sixth child) where he attended grade school at the American International School of Lagos. It was here that his affinity and interest for acting developed and began performing in various school productions; his favorite being You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, where he played Snoopy. At age 14 he attended the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan where he received training and graduated, while attending he performed in The 39 Steps, Othello, and Beauty and The Beast. He also attended and graduated from Rutgers University; Mason Gross School of the Arts where he received his BFA in acting and has performed in Gabriel(le), Fear and Misery in The Third Reich, and The Virgin Woods. His other credits include his role as Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Sam/Hodari in Beyond The Oak Trees at The Crossroads Theatre Company and subsequently The National Black Theatre Festival, The Prince of Morocco in The Merchant of Venice at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and Harry Brewer/Captain Campbell in Our Country's Good at the Connecticut Repertory Theatre. His other skills include drawing (he originally wanted to be a Disney animator), cooking, plays/owns a didgeridoo, and is well versed in accents; including but not limited to British MLE, Estuary, Nigerian, and Scottish.
