Dana Joiner

Dana Joiner is the award-winning Creator and Executive Producer of Facebook Live and Periscope's first and only live broadcast scripted series,' Houghton Heights. The series is the first of its kind, which allowed viewers to tweet, or IM during the show and alter the direction of the content. She has been working in the entertainment industry as an actor, producer, assistant director and content creator for the past 15 years with a particular emphasis on female focused content. In addition to her work on Woman Enough, Dana is in development on American Havoc, the provocative and untold story of June Havoc and Gypsy Rose Lee. Her novel, Untitled, scheduled for release early 2019, has already garnered acclaim in its earliest drafts and tells the story of the first flight attendants post WWII; emancipated working women thrust into a newly civilian man's world. In front of the camera, Dana can be seen on HBO's Togetherness, and ABC's American Crime. She is currently in post-production for the controversial film 8 Winds and recently wrapped as AD on the feature, A Bloody Shame set for release at Sundance next year.
