James Williams III

James Williams III is a writer/film maker who was born and raised in Maryland. He has been a soldier in the U.S. Army since (1999 - present) and has served in various positions including videographer, broadcast technician, journalist, Company Commander, and public affairs officer. James attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore before transferring and earning an BA in Radio, Television, and Film at Howard University. He is expected to graduate with an MFA in Screenwriting from National University in 2014. Outside of his official military duties, James writes and produces independent projects. He has uncredited internships on the sets of Transformers 2 (Technical Adviser on behalf of the United States Army) and on the set of the Refresh the World Summit (Camera Operator) directed by Spike Lee. James is also professional DJ of Caribbean and Hip Hop music under the hands J. Dirty.
