Joy was born in Dallas Texas and raised in Waxahachie Texas. Her parents owned an Arabian horse ranch where Joy learned her outstanding work ethic early on. In 2013, Joy co-founded an acting school, The Actors Arena in Austin Texas with Terry Kiser. She is constantly fine tuning her craft and continues to study and grow.
