The singular style of Simon's debut short film, 'If I Had a Heart' grabbed the attention of Ben Wheatley's Rook Films (Free Fire, Kill List) who came on board to oversee post-production and it was subsequently released online to much acclaim. This led to Simon being signed by WME for feature films and television. Simon spent the subsequent years honing his craft. Two of his screenplays were optioned by Agile Films (Beast, Next Goal Wins) and he was commissioned to write another for legendary J-Horror director, Hideo Nakata (The Ring, Dark Water). He developed his directorial style with music videos for the likes of Jamie xx, Novelist and Koreless - the online mini-series '100 Bullets: Dead Ghosts,' a North Korean Revenge Saga set within the world of immensely regarded comic book series, '100 Bullets' - and a feature-length documentary about North Korean refugees, 'Cries Came To The Border.' He splits his time between London, Sweden and beyond.
