Ingried Boussaroque

Ingried Boussaroque is a singer, musician and actress based in Montreal (Canada). As an actress, she devotes her time mostly to "street theater" and to the screen. She acts regularly for the company "Les Bateleurs du bout du monde", which specialize in Commedia dell'Arte and slapstick. She trained with great Quebec teachers like Pol Pelletier and Robert Favreau. She is starting to devote more time to screen acting, as she like it more and more. As a musician, her main field is World/Early music. She is the director of La Mandragore, a group specialized in ancient folklore. Their last album, Convivencia, was nominated as "Best world music album" by the Quebec Music Industry Awards (ADISQ 2011). The concert based on that album was also nominated as "Concert of the Year, world music" by the Quebec Music Council. Ingried is also devoting some of her time to electronic music, as a collaborator to Biobazar or as a solo artist in the Neä project.
