James discovered a love for filmmaking at the age of 15. He began making short films in his back-garden with school friends. By the age of 17, James had finished secondary school but struggled to get a day job, and in his spare time worked on a feature film script based on the character The Joker portrayed by Heath Ledger in "The Dark Knight". He cast himself as The Joker and his best friend in a lead role as "The Detective". The script was 90-pages in length and over the coarse of being out of work, James managed to shoot and edit a big portion of it. This provided James with a very polished portfolio of work which attracted attention from ex-BBC producer and successful casting agent Jay Spencer. James and Jay decided to form their own production company, Shooting Incident Productions. By now James has worked on films across Europe and formed strong links with the cast of Emmerdale and ITV Yorkshire. He has also just finished production of his feature film "Phase Three", which is scheduled for a cinema premiere on May 6th 2012.
