Megan Harty

Megan Harty was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She was involved in music at an early age. She has been singing since the day she was born. She began by playing the piano at age four, but then quit because she only memorized the songs. Then in the third grade she started playing the violin, until the fifth grade where she switched over to the cello. In middle school she started writing songs as a way to get her emotions out, she enjoyed it so much she kept writing songs. In her sophomore year of high school, she began playing the guitar and singing in public, and she also picked up the piano again. Also in her sophomore year, Megan started recording her songs, she has an indie pop/singer-songwriter feel. Megan started acting in her junior year of high school. Three months after she started taking acting seriously, she was signed to her agent and manager. She now performs and writes music regularly and go out on auditions. Megan is enjoying her life as she goes into college and will never stop following her dreams.
