After school and military service in Denmark Freddy Valentin Iversen starts traveling through Europe in 1958. In Paris he gets mime & tap-dance lessons by Marcel Marceau. At his work as a fashion photographer he gets to know the danish model Hanne Blarke - "Anna Karina". She introduces him to Roger Vadim and Jean Luc Godard, who gets him a student place at Paris Film Academy. But because of his expired residence permit he has to leave France. After several other stations he finally arrives in Austria-Vienna in 1960, where he starts to work as Extra and Dancer in feature films, Assistant in TV-Productions and as Assistant Director in Stella Cadmons "Theater der Courage". From 1961 he works as Director at Commercials, Documentaries and TV-Magazines. In 1975 he is elected as the President of the Danish Society in Austria "Det Danske Samfund i Ostrig" and got reelected every time until his death. In 1977 he starts his own filmproduction company "DAN-AUSTRIA Filmproduktion". In 1989 he was decorated with the Danish "Knight of Dannebrog". In 2003 he was decorated with the Austrian "Goldenes Ehrenzeichen fuer Verdienste um die Republik Oesterreich".
