Nima Bank is a seasoned filmmaker in Iran, with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He has a wealth of expertise in commercials, feature films, and television shows, showcasing his unparalleled visual skills time and time again. Born in 1974 into a well-known family in the Iranian film industry, Nima was exposed to the world of film from a young age. At 8 years old, he played the lead role in a production of "The Little Prince" in Tehran's theaters. At 16, he honed his skills as a still photographer in the movie industry, becoming the youngest member of the Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds. He also established himself as an actor, appearing in several popular TV shows. With a passion for directing, Nima began making short films and documentaries at 18, funded by the UN Office in Iran. His documentaries received critical acclaim and earned him awards from various festivals. In 1994, he started producing and directing TV commercials, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after and expensive directors in the industry. In 2006, Nima founded Nimad Intl., a company that was named after his reputation in the industry and personal brand equity. The company became the largest private TV production house in Iran, producing and supervising over 1800 TVCs as well as directing over 600 TVCs. Nima's commitment to perfection led him to recruit professional international filmmaking teams, making Nimad Intl. the first and only ISO 9001 and 10002 holder in the Iranian advertising market. Under his leadership, the company has produced TV commercials in Iran, Dubai, Turkey, Sri Lanka, and France. In 2012, Nima founded 360º Creative Solutions, a premier ATL & BTL full-service advertising agency in Iran. With cutting-edge equipment, the company has established itself as a leader in technology. Nima has received numerous awards for his outstanding work, including best director, best TV commercial, and best visual effects. He directed Iran's first talent show and the first football talent show, "Setare Saz," in 2019. The show was a huge success and the young stars who participated have since gained fame and success, many of them now playing for football clubs across Iran. In 2021-2022, Nima directed "Bandbazi," the biggest music competition for bands in Iran. Over a thousand bands registered, and 110 were selected to participate in the audition phase. Hosted by well-known artist Omid Hajili, the competition was streamed on Filmnet, a VOD service active in Iran. Nima served as the director, producer, and set designer/decorator for the show, which he described as The Easiest Way to Stardom.
