Kosta wrote and directed the award winning narrative short films Utopia (2019) and Light (2011) whilst his feature film directorial debut "Sacred Heart" (2015) starring AFI Award winning actor David Field had its world premiere at the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival and was acquired for distribution in North America by Gravitas Ventures. He has written and directed stage plays and shorts, and was script translator and dialogue coach for the award winning ABC TV Series 'The Slap', based on the best-selling novel of the same name. Kosta worked as a journalist and communications professional for more than 15 years before embarking on a film career. He holds a Master's degree in Interactive and Digital Media from the University of Sydney as well as a Bachelor's degree in Applied Communications majoring in literary studies, public relations and professional writing from the University of Western Sydney.
