Randy Wilson is an actor and sound engineer/sound designer in the New York/New Jersey area. In addition, he also is a musician with a functioning band, The Carnival of Shadows. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he grew fond of music beyond just listening to it during his teenage years. Without any musical experience behind him, he went on to major in Music at the College of Staten Island in New York City. He became a member of the college's radio station, WSIA 88.9FM. Here he found a new direction, audio editing and engineering, becoming the assistant director of production. He would build his own home studio and branch further into recording demos of local artists and begin branching out into audio mastering. While his mainstay during these years was computer technical support, with a crumbling market, he had to find a new direction to rebuild in. He realized the potential and demand for sound technicians, mixers and editors in the local independent film market. Working with several studios, including Graffiti Playhouse Productions and Kill the Lion films, he began building up his experience within the field. He continues on this path, working with Sylvestra Entertainment on their web series show, Swag. In addition to sound design, Randy began expanding his enjoyment of the stage in 2010. Having been a musician, he was no stranger to the stage. He was casted in the original Keith Brown play, "Outcasts", as John Calhoun Jr., the son of a slave owner during the civil war. In 2011, he has featured in Blood Lodge as "Blaze", a victim-turned zombie; Swag, a web series show, as Albert Ross, a scheming businessman, amongst other small roles; and as a courtroom guard in the short, "Trial By Fire", by Allegory Productions. His band, The Carnival of Shadows, can be heard at thecarnivalofshadows.com
