Curt Kaplan

Curt Kaplan did most of his storm chasing back in the mid 1990s. He is a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard Ca. His son Kyle Kaplan is an actor. Curt Kaplan appeared on the Gong Show as "The Worms" several times in 1977 with partners Greg Chickman and Jeff Linden. They also appeared on "The Chuck Barris Rah Rah Show. In 1987 Don Blue hosted the New Gong Show where "The Worms" made another appearance and won the trophy.
