Born in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, Dafina is a New York native. She is a writer/director/producer for television, film, and theater. She is best known for the dramedy series "Giving Me Life (In The Land Of The Deadass)". Recently, she was a Kickstarter Creator-In-Residence. Previously, she worked in development & production at Viacom as well as the assistant artistic director of the Oscar-nominated youth performance company IMPACT Repertory Theatre. Dafina co-produced the coming-of-age feature film, "Punching At The Sun", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
