Borzouyeh was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran and Tehran Province. He was interested in art from childhood and, in 1979, at the age of 11, showed his commitment to acting when he played his first role alongside professionals such as Ezatollah Entezemi in a film directed by Dariush Mehrjouei. As a teenager, he often took photographs with his parents and it was this that inspired his interest in photography. He continued his studies in this field at the University of Tehran, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography (1973). As his interest in theater grew, Borzouyeh attended Tehran Aazad University receiving his second BA in acting / directing in 1980. In 2015, his work was recognized by the Iranian Evaluation Committee for Artists, Writers and Poets. He is now head of the Photography Department at the University of Applied Science and Technology in Iran, and lectures a variety of courses.
