Emily Jenkins

As Director of Development at Guru Studio, Emily helped develop Guru's newest preschool series Pikwik Pack which airs on Disney Junior US, Hulu and Treehouse in Canada, and the upcoming comedy adventure Big Blue with the CBC. Emily also wrote and directed short form content for Guru Studio's flagship Netflix series True and the Rainbow Kingdom, including the musical specials Dance and Sing with True. Emily also was the Development Producer for Sesame Workshop's Mecha Builders which released in 2022 on HBOMax. Emily holds a BA in Media from Ryerson University, a Certificate in Entertainment Law from York University, and is an active member of Women in Film and Television Toronto. She is passionate about innovative and inclusive storytelling for kids and families globally.
