Andrea Grasselli

(Brescia, Italy, 1986) Author, director and producer of documentaries. He is one of the founders of the OmVideo collective, with which he produces and directs short and feature films. Among his latest works, Zenerù (doc; 30'; 2021) has participated in many festivals and received many awards, La nostalgia della condizione sconosciuta (doc; 73'; 2019) has been part of the 37th edition of the Torino Film Festival. Others documentaries are Solenne triduo dei morti (doc; 14' 2017) and Il vortice fuori (doc; 60'; 2014). His research is aimed at experimenting different ways of storytelling the relationship between the individuals and their communities, exploring its most intimate dimensions and the sphere of collective rituality for immersing the audience inside of identities of the documentaries characters. He creates and develops audiovisual projects, including Babel - il giorno del giudizio (web-doc; 150'; 2019) and Zeus! (web-series; 3x7'; 2016). He also collaborates with artists, performers and sound artists to create installations and exhibitions.
