Marissa Pitts

Marissa Pitts was born in Upland, CA and is the third of seven children. Marissa fell in love with acting when she was five years old and would dress up in her grandmother's wigs and jewelry and make her grandparents act as paparazzi while she would give " interviews." By the time she hit 12, Marissa had discovered a darker side of the world and fell into a lifestyle of partying, drugs and living on the streets. It was not until she returned back to southern California at 18 that she would revisit the idea of her childhood dream as a professional actor. Marissa Pitts is currently Chris Collins' sidekick on The Chris Collins Show. Marissa has an MFA in Television, Film, and Theatre and an MA in Theatre Arts from Cal State University, L.A. and is an Alumni of Cal Poly Pomona University. She has trained with world-renowned Shakespeare and Company. Ms. Pitts is an adjunct teacher for Acting and Voice at Cal State L.A. and at Cal Poly Pomona University. She is also a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. During her free time, Marissa loves riding horses and spending time with her daughter, Lilac-Fae and painter/punk-singer husband, Zorro (Jay) Susel.
