Kirk Damato

Kirk Damato is a writer, actor, puppeteer, and director. A member of The Jim Henson Company's Diversity Puppeteer Training Initiative, he is best known for co-creating the cult web series, Cakey! The Cake from Outer Space (2006), and playing the titular role of a talking space cake. He was a longtime comedian in NYC's longform improv community, where he regularly performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, the Magnet Theater, and the People's Improv Theatre. A native Floridian, Kirk is a graduate of Flagler College in Saint Augustine, FL.
