Armenian by descent, Nora was raised in a few countries. Dance, drama, and music made up her earliest training in Moscow while writing, producing, and directing experience accumulated in Los Angeles. Nora trained and performed as a dancer and an actress for a few years in Moscow and L.A. Slava Ashotovich, the protege of Sergei Parajanov, was her first acting teacher and theater director. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she was discovered by an agent, which resulted in her becoming Miss Armenia USA 2008 in the Miss Asia USA pageant. Nora graduated from Santa Monica College, earning four Associate degrees with honors. Nora's first screenplay for the short film "Hollywood' is based upon a romance begun in love but overpowered by possessive violence, shattering a once beautiful relationship. The second screenplay for the short film "Dance of Vengeance" portrays a woman no longer vulnerable to weakness. In 2019, Nora won a film festival award for directing "Hollywood" in the category of Best Short Film Drama. The film was also nominated for the People's Choice Award at Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival.
