Born Amy Lynn Tomaziefski in Voorhees, NJ, Amy's family relocated to Springfield, GA. It was there that Amy began acting on stage at Effingham County High School. She continued to fuel her passion for acting while maintaining a good GPA and a rigorous marching band schedule. She graduated with honors in 1995. Turning down a full scholarship to study opera, Amy took a hiatus from theater, during which she married and had two children. She and her family became involved in theater together, and in 2011, she auditioned for her first movie role as Dealing Momma in Crackerjack. Amy continues to work with Effingham Theatre, and has taken on several new roles, such as fund-raising chairperson, tech work (lights and sound), directing, board member, and working with an Improv workshop for people with Asperger's and other social challenges. Amy continues to act in several productions a year.
