Jared Douglas was born on September 26, 1994 in New York City. In high school, Jared found interest in sculpture and animation and went on to win regional awards for his work. At the age of 16, Jared was invited to spend the summer between his junior and senior year of high school taking graduate-level classes at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Following the experience, he would go on to write, produce and direct the short film, Forever Changed. Jared proceeded to study at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Film & Television and a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. While at NYU, Jared interned for Molly Smith and Black Label Media, where he assisted on award- winning films, such as Sicario and Demolition. At the age of 24, Jared completed his first feature film The Sound of The Wind.
