Cortney Matz

Cortney Matz is a screenwriter and producer for film and the web. After 11 years in story development and screenwriting with 1Voice Films in Virginia, Cortney began working independently. Her love of chocolate led to producing a web series (The Chocolate Tourist) and writing many blog posts and articles on the subject. Growing up with a Navy dad, Cortney moved frequently for the first twelve years of her life before landing back in the DC metropolitan area. In lieu of a college education, Cortney dove into an on-the-job film school experience with CDR Communications, where she worked her way up from the reception desk to an executive level. In 2013 Cortney relocated to Los Angeles in pursuit of creative collaborations in film and online media.
