Ben Franklin

Ben Franklin is a director/producer/writer who, through his online horror series Bloody Cuts (created with Anthony Melton), has made 18 short films, all of which have been critically praised for their use of practical effects, Hollywood standard aesthetics and unconventional storytelling. Their films have been viewed over 50 million times, played at major festivals worldwide, and in 2017 they received a Webby Award for their most popular short film 'The Birch'. In 2020 Bloody Cuts celebrated its 3rd year at Thorpe Park Resort's 'Fright Nights', where the franchise has become a major staple at one of the biggest theme parks in the UK. Ben has a number of projects in development in the UK and US, including two feature adaptations of Bloody Cuts shorts. Ben is also a co-producer on Season 2 of 'The Birch', produced exclusively for Facebook Watch.
