Melissa Dean, (originally Melissa Jane Orr-Edwards), grew up in Leyton, East London and attended St.Angela's School for girls in Forest Gate. She graduated from The Oxford School of Drama in 2012 and has gone on to work mainly in TV on shows such as EastEnders (BBC), Line of Duty (World Productions), The Investigation (Channel 4/Story Films) and most recently Doctors (BBC).
