David R. Wendell

Born in Detroit on March 8, 1966, David grew grew up in Warren Michigan with Florence, his homemaker mother, Phillip his engineer father and Lisa, his sister. At an early age David was interested in acting, movie effects makeup and anything Hollywood. He attempted to start a drama club in St. Clement grade school when he was in 6th grade. After high school, David attended the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, Michigan and graduated in 1985. A music lover his whole life, David began working in Nigh clubs as a disc jockey and transitioned to a short stint in Radio at two Rock and Roll stations in the Detroit area first as Harley Dave "The Metallica Dude" and then as Chef Dave. He has done voice over work for commercials and public service announcements from 1985 to 1991. Since 2012, he has been working in the Haunted house industry designing rooms, facades and props along with running a catering business that serves only Coney Island hot dogs.
