George Blake

George Blake is a Maryland native, who after successfully completing the Warner Brothers Writing for Television and Film program in both Morgan State University's undergraduate and graduate programs moved west to pursue television writing. Mentored by the college program's heir apparent, Doreen Spicer Dannelly, of Disney's The Proud Family and Jump In (as well as internationally successful series The Wannabes also available on Starz Kids and Family, Fall 2011 and Netflix), Blake was given his first writing gig on The Wannabes as a staff writer and a freelance writer. Working with one of the industry's workhorses, Art Harris, Blake was given another writing job on the BET series, Reed Between the Lines (Fall 2011-Spring 2012).
