Kadeem Alston-Roman, an actor and choreographer, hails from Brooklyn, New York. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music, Art and the Performing Arts (The Fame School) in New York City. He has choreographed over 55 dance pieces in a variety of dance genres that include: modern, contemporary ballet, jazz, tap, african and liturgical dance. He has showcased his work at American College Dance Festival, Harlem Summer Stage, Brooklyn Borough Hall, Charles Moore Dance Theater, Muhlenberg College, Lehigh University, SUNY Newpaltz, Laguardia Arts, Bric Studios, Brooklyn Friends School, The Secret Theater, Red Hook Festival, St. Paul's Community Baptist Church, St. Luke's Theater, Dance New Amsterdam and the Harkness Dance Center where dance luminaries such as Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, Robert Joffrey, and Lester Horton showcased their talent. It was here in which he was considered one of the "top seven young choreographers in New York City". His choreography has also been featured Off-Broadway in Play The Music Softly and Alive. In June 2010, he founded Full Force Dance Repertory. A few of Kadeem's acting credits include Play The Music Soflty (Off B'way), Smash (NBC), The Amazing Spiderman 2 (Columbia Pictures), Ragtime, The Lion King, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Prisoner of Second Ave, and The Gin Game. He has trained at a variety of studios including Actors Connection, with classes taught by Harley Kaplan, Michael Cassara, Eve Battalgia and Tiffany Little Canfield and participated in the New York State Summer School of the Arts program. Only the "top 32 young actors" in New York State gain acceptance. He received his B.A. in Dance from Muhlenberg College.
