At the age of 15 he published "As Sete Vidas do Gato" (1998), through the A. Tito Filho Law of local culture incentive, followed by "A Obscuridade Humana" (1999), by EDUFPI, Editora da Universidade Federal do Piauí, and "O Confidente" (2003), awarded by the State Foundation of Culture and Sport of Piauí - FUNDEPI, in the Novel category - Fontes Ibiapina Prize, in 2001. Between 1999 and 2014, he wrote film reviews for newspapers and the internet, having published around 600 texts and articles during this period. He began his career in audiovisual in 2004, with "No Meio do Caminho", a medium-length film made with friends. Then came "Insone" (2005), a suspense short film that won the Best Film Award at Piauí Festvideo; the docudrama "Dona Maria" (2010), about loneliness and abandonment in old age; "Qualquer Hora Dessas", a feature film awarded in 2012 as Best Screenplay and Best Actress at the National Cinema Festival of Sertões; and the documentary short film "Estado da Arte: Adriano Abreu" (2017). He has a degree in Psychology and Journalism, a Master's degree in Literature, and has been teaching film workshops since 2006.
