Michelle Farivar

Actress Michelle Farivar was born to Jewish Iranian refugees in Los Angeles, California. With an exposure to waves of contrasting ethnic, religious, and social identities around her, she took to the stage to melt the distinctions and express somehow what was deeply human.She is also a writer and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at UCLA. Passionate about human rights awareness and the healing power of the arts, she has steered her activism in this direction, working with theatrical outreach in rehabilitation facilities, in domestic violence shelters, and on Skid Row.
