Paul Frankl

Paul is a writer/director in London. His short films have screened at festivals around the world including Tribeca, Palm Springs, the Iris Prize and Aesthetica and collectively have over 900,000 views online. In 2019 he was selected as one of the winners from 1200 open submissions for The Uncertain Kingdom short film project to make magic-realist, environmental short 'The Life Tree'. He is in development of a range of feature film and TV projects including 'Tchaikovsky', for which he was awarded early development funding by the BFI. His previous shorts include 'Dungeons and Drag Queens' (2019), a documentary commission for VICE, 'Gold Star' (2018), and 'Roxanne' (2014) which has played at over 30 international festivals, been made a Vimeo staff pick and is on Amazon Prime as part of a collection of London-set shorts.
